I love how music can encapsulate a moment in time, a person you once knew or once were, a fleeting feeling of floating that you forgot you felt. Here is a small selection of my favourites~~~

're:' playlists

One of my favourite activities is to curate a playlist's ~vibe~, and this often means building a playlist around a certain song. These playlists are my re: series, and I want to share some of them here!

Each entry includes a descriptive link to the 'living' YT Music playlists that I listen to and update regularly, and a list of some of my favourites from each playlist (✿◡‿◡)

(I am slowly transitioning from Spotify (°°)~ so apologies if it is slightly less accessible!)

Catharsis. You've been wronged but the anger is more hot than deep and heavy-- and it's a little fun to indulge in so it doesn't start to rot you out from the inside. You've cried about it, laughed it through with your friends, and cursed the wrong-doer to hell and back. Now it's time to sing it out in the car with the windows down on open road.

"It's funny and I'm laughing baby--you think I'm alright, but I'm actually bloody motherfucking batshit crazy"

re: chloe et. al.

Melancholy. You're on the train home and the rain on the window makes the view outside all watery and distorted. A friendship faded, you're not sure why; your plans fallen through and no clear path ahead. Or perhaps it's more like a bitter-sweet nostalgia-- pain that was once sharp has smoothed like a river stone, but it still hurts to step on with bare feet.

"If you want to break my cold, cold heart, just say 'I loved you the way that you were.'"
